This Second Volume published from Odissi Research Centre aspires to delineate the Vocabulary and Kinetic Phraseology of the Dance Form.

This book has also attempted nomenclatures for both still and mobile points. The rationale behind this to two fold  purposes of codification and fixation of stylistic  stance norms and secondly for use as a tool for imparting training both oral and visual. It continues the pursuit of stylistic purity which is indispensable in the learning of any classical dance form; without it, no training is complete.

5.RAGA SARANI

This book contains the Raaga Structure and Notation of the traditional songs based on these Raagas. This is the Grammar Book for  Odissi Classical Music. Taking veteran Musicians, and organizing more than 100 Seminars  Odissi Research Centre has published this “Raga Sarani”.

6.ABHINAYA DARPANA PRAKASHA

This Treatise of Jadunath Singh of Tigiria, Odisha is first of its kind in India  which has given the exact direction how to do the specific usages. They have  been shown by Guru Pankaj Ch. Das to the Sanskrit version of the Great Sanskrit  Scholar Late Pt. Nilamani Mishra. It is a basic book of Odissi Dance where the  nomenclatures of different Postures and Mudras are found.

7. PALLAVI

In the year 2009, a book named 'Pallavi’ has been published by Odissi Research Centre which  contains notations of different Pallavis for Odissi Dance composed by exclusively by Pt. Bhubaneswar  Mishra in his own  handwriting. No need to say, these compositions are very popular worldwide and to keep the composition in its pure form, Centre took the step for publication.
